Hindi Pakhwada Concludes at Luhri Hydroelectric Project-1 with Hindi Workshop, Poetry Session and Award Ceremony
Bithal, September 28, 2026: Luhri Hydroelectric Project-1 successfully organized a Hindi Workshop, Poetry Session and Award Distribution Ceremony on September 28, 2026, at its office premises in Bithal to mark the concluding occasion of Hindi Pakhwada. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and employees of the project and highlighted the importance of promoting the effective use of Hindi in official and administrative work.
The programme commenced with a Hindi Workshop, in which the Chief Speaker, Dr. Mohan Lal, delivered an elaborate presentation on the effective use of Hindi as the Official Language and its significance in administrative functioning. He emphasized the importance of using simple, effective and appropriate Hindi in official communication and encouraged the participants to contribute towards strengthening the use of the Official Language in day-to-day administrative work.
This was followed by an engaging Poetry Session, in which officers and employees of the project participated enthusiastically and presented their literary creations. The heartfelt and creative presentations created a vibrant and emotionally enriching atmosphere, reflecting the participants’ interest in Hindi literature and poetry.
The programme was graced by Ms. Alka Jaiswal, Head of Department (R&R, Environment) as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, she said, “Hindi is our language of identity and pride. By promoting the maximum possible use of Hindi in administrative work, we can further strengthen our cultural heritage. Luhri Hydroelectric Project-1 has been continuously making efforts in this direction.”
The successful conclusion of Hindi Pakhwada was achieved under the able guidance and inspiring directions of Project Head Shri Jaswant Singh Kapoor. His guidance and encouragement played an important role in promoting the spirit of participation and strengthening awareness about the Official Language among the officers and employees.
The final phase of the programme featured an Award Distribution Ceremony, during which participants who demonstrated outstanding performance in various competitions organized as part of Hindi Pakhwada were felicitated. These competitions included Dictation, Correct and Incorrect Words, Translation Competition and Poetry Session, among others. The winners and outstanding participants were honoured for their enthusiasm, creativity and performance, further encouraging greater participation in Hindi-related activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Manish Kumar, Junior Officer (Official Language). He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the guests and participants for their valuable presence and active participation. He especially thanked the Chief Guest and the members of the jury for their cooperation and support, which contributed significantly to the successful organization of the event.
The successful conclusion of Hindi Pakhwada at Luhri Hydroelectric Project-1 reaffirmed the project’s continued commitment towards encouraging the effective use of Hindi in official work and promoting awareness, creativity and participation in the Official Language.
