International Convocation 2026 at Bahra University Celebrates Global Diversity, Academic Excellence and Aspirations to Reality
SOLAN, HIMACHAL PRADESH: Bahra University hosted its International Convocation 2026, celebrating the academic achievements of international students and showcasing the university’s growing global academic community. The convocation brought together graduating students from Nigeria, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Malawi, Ghana, Comoros, Thailand, Nepal and many more countries, representing diverse cultures, academic disciplines and professional aspirations.
The ceremony was organised by the International Students Division (ISD), Bahra University, and witnessed the presence of senior university leadership, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, students and graduating scholars.
Among those present on the occasion were Sardar Gurwinder Singh Bahra, Chairman, Rayat Bahra Group and Chancellor, Bahra University; Prof. (Dr.) R.P. Nainta, Vice-Chancellor, Bahra University; and Mr. Vineet Kumar, Registrar, Bahra University, along with senior academic and administrative officials.
A Celebration of Global Education and Academic Achievement
The International Convocation 2026 reflected the multicultural, multidisciplinary and international character of Bahra University, bringing together students from different nations and cultural backgrounds on a common academic platform.
The graduating students represented a wide range of professional and academic disciplines. Among them were future legal professionals, management professionals, pharmacists, hospitality and tourism professionals, computer science and technology professionals, along with graduates from several other specialised fields.
Their graduation marked the culmination of years of academic learning, practical exposure, professional skill development, research, experiential education and perseverance. Chairman Confers Degrees, Congratulates Graduates
Sardar Gurwinder Singh Bahra, Chairman, Rayat Bahra Group and Chancellor, Bahra University, was the Chief Guest on the occasion and conferred degrees upon the graduating students.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Gurwinder Singh Bahra congratulated the graduates on achieving this significant academic milestone and wished them success in their future professional journeys. He appreciated the commitment and efforts of the International Students Division (ISD), Bahra University, for organising the International Convocation and providing a distinguished platform to celebrate the achievements of the university’s international graduating community.
