Rampur HPS Concludes Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 with Street Play and Speech Competitions
Nirmand, October - Rampur Hydroelectric Project (Rampur HPS) concluded Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 with a series of awareness activities aimed at promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability. The theme for this year's observance was “Probity for Prosperity,” focusing on strengthening ethical values and encouraging a corruption-free work culture.
As part of the celebrations, a street play competition was organized at Rampur HPS on October 30, 2026, in which five teams representing different departments participated enthusiastically. The PHEM Department team secured first place, followed by the PHMM Department team in second place and the OPH Department team in third place. The remaining participating teams received participation awards.
Through their performances, all teams effectively conveyed messages highlighting integrity, honesty, ethical values, transparency, and the importance of fostering a corruption-free work environment.
On October 31, 2026, a speech competition was organized for students of ITI Nirmand to mark the conclusion of Vigilance Awareness Week. The competition was based on this year's theme, “Probity for Prosperity.” The students presented their views eloquently, emphasizing the importance of integrity, honesty, and transparency. They also highlighted the crucial role of young people in building a corruption-free society. At the conclusion of the competition, prizes were awarded to the winners, and the enthusiasm and active participation of all students were appreciated.
Addressing the students on the occasion, Mr. Vikas Marwaha, Head of Project, Rampur HPS, said that the younger generation represents the future of the nation and has a significant role to play in upholding integrity and ethical values in society. He encouraged the students to practice honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct in every sphere of life and to adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards corruption.
He emphasized that the honest discharge of even small responsibilities can make a significant contribution towards building a strong, prosperous, and corruption-free nation. He also appreciated the enthusiasm and active participation of all the students and extended his best wishes for their bright future.
