Vigilance Awareness Week Inaugurated at Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station
Integrity to Prosperity: Employees Take Pledge; Walkathon Promotes Transparency and a Corruption-Free Work Culture
Jhakri, October , 2026: Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station, a 1500 MW project of SJVN, is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26 to November 1, 2026, in accordance with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission. The week-long observance was inaugurated today by Project Head Rajiv Kapoor, who administered the pledge of integrity to officers and employees.
This year's theme, “Integrity to Prosperity,” highlights the importance of honesty, transparency, and accountability in professional conduct. On the occasion, Project Head Rajiv Kapoor encouraged employees to uphold these values in their day-to-day work and adopt a corruption-free work culture. He also emphasized the importance of performing official duties with the highest standards of integrity and responsibility.
As part of the inauguration programme, a walkathon was organized from the Administrative Building to the Memorial. The initiative conveyed a message of vigilance, ethical conduct, and the importance of maintaining integrity in professional and public life.
During Vigilance Awareness Week, various awareness programmes will be organized to educate employees, schoolchildren, and women about integrity, transparency, and the prevention of corruption. These initiatives aim to strengthen ethical values in the workplace and promote a culture of honesty, accountability, and transparency in society.
