Four more corona virus positive cases reported in district, 4 patients cured, sent home

The District today saw four corona virus positive cases emerging. But, in another five cases, the report has come out negative.

One positive case is from Sector-68 in which the 29 year old son of a person has been found positive. The father of the youth had recently attended a religious congregation in Delhi. The other three cases are from village Jawaharpur in which the father aged 67, wife aged 43 and brother aged 38 of the Panch of the village tested positive. The Panch had earlier tested positive.

Today, however, 4 more people returned to their homes after being found negative. One is a male resident of Sector - 69 named Amandeep Singh, the other two are sisters belonging to Phase 3A aged 69 Kulwant Kaur and 74 Gurdev Kaur while the fourth one is an 80 year old woman named Resham Lauren who was admitted at a private hospital and was charged only for consumable items such as syringes as per the orders of the Deputy Commissioner.

As regarding the position of cases under quarantine, a total of 1458 cases are placed under home quarantine. Out of these, in respect of 301 cases, the period of quarantine is still continuing while with regard to 1157 cases, the quarantine period is over.

The containment protocol is being strictly followed and the District Administration is ensuring that Sanitization is being done at regular intervals.
