Chandigarh - In a statement issued here, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Cooperation Department stated that 1,81,973.28 Metric Tonnes of Wheat was procured from 16546 farmers in the Procurement Centres of Haryana. With this the progressive total of 2,83,888.97 Metric Tonnes of Wheat has been procured from 25,559 farmers in the State in the last two days.
He also added that today 23,934.26 Metric Tonnes of Mustard was procured from 8318 farmers in the 163 Procurement
Centres of the State and progressive total of 1,49,975.55 Metric Tonnes of mustard has been procured from 55,391 farmers.
