The Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan in his capacity as the Chairman DDMA, has issued directions for the safety of frontline fighters against corona virus such as Police, Health and other administrative officials who don't wish to go home.

The DC has directed that the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Mohali, which is presently closed and not being used, shall keep 25 furnished rooms for this office. Besides this, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) shall keep available 25 flats out of the 669 unsold and vacant flats, in Purab premium apartments.

These shall be used for stay of these officers/employees on temporary basis as per requirement. The recommendations for allotment of such flats/room should be forwarded through district head i.e. SSP, Civil Surgeon to the office of Deputy Commissioner. The allotment would be done as per genuine need of the employees.
